A fluent spanish speaker, Jennifer has experience working with adults, adolescents, pre-teens, families, individuals and groups in a variety of settings.  As a humanistic therapist, Jennifer utilizes various modalities of therapy including activity, journaling, art, and collaborative conversation to help clients work toward therapy goals. She maintains an existential perspective in therapy, which means that time spent together will address client concerns in a manner that focuses on present experiences, and developing a greater sense of self awareness and personal responsibility.

Jennifer works collaboratively with clients in such a way that each client’s self-exploration will help her gain a better understanding of each individual client’s current life situations and experiences.  Techniques that include decision-making and action, insight, and confronting present issues will be utilized with the goal of alleviating distress and giving clients new ways to approach similar and new problems.

As your therapist, Jennifer intends for you to leave the therapy encounter with a greater sense of well-being and positive outlook on the present and future. Se habla espanol.
